Wow! What an exciting year for us at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County! 2015 was a great year where we saw the opening of a new after school and summer program in Fort Lupton, the development of many new and exciting opportunities for the Weld County area, and boasted the highest average daily attendance in our 51 year history!

We have many things to be thankful for over the course of 2015 and even greater things to come in 2016!

Some of the highlights of 2015 were:

We unveiled our two passenger buses, and with new transportation possibilities increased our Greeley Clubhouse attendance by 70 youth!

We opened a brand new Clubhouse in Fort Lupton which serves over 80 youth a day.

Yellowstone National Park responded to the 200 letters we sent them as part of summer our curriculum. They sent a box back to us packed full of books, resources, games, stickers, and bookmarks. Thanks, Yellowstone!

The Boys & Girls Club of Weld County Choir sang the National Anthem at a UNC basketball game.

We hosted our second annual “Be Great 5K” race which had over 300 participants.

And last but not least:

We unveiled our new Kindergarten Enrichment Program, where students of half-day kindergarten programs in Greeley School District 6 can come to the Monfort Youth Development Center for supplemental instruction.

Thanks, everyone for a great year, as we move on to 2016 with high hopes and enthusiasm!
