Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County opened its doors in Greeley, CO in 1964, serving a few young men out of an old tire shop. At the time it provided a safe place for young men to go to and learn some basic skills such as how to change the oil in a car and clean a carburetor. In 55 years, we have grown into a $2.1 million organization with seven Clubhouses throughout Weld County. We proudly serve over 3,000 youth annually and approximately 550 each day.
BGCWC operates two stand-alone Clubhouses and a Teen Center in the City of Greeley. Additionally, BGCWC operates one school-based site in Greeley, currently at Madison Elementary. BGCWC also operates two school-based sites in the rural communities of Galeton, and Fort Lupton, and has a dedicated Clubhouse space at the Milliken Athletic Complex in partnership with Thompson Rivers Parks & Recreation District. BGCWC’s staff and Board of Directors strive to make Weld County a strong and vibrant region for our youth.
We accomplish our mission by being the premier youth serving nonprofit organization in Weld County that offers comprehensive youth development after-school and summer programs in all of our locations. At BGCWC, we know that investing in our youth equates to ensuring a more positive future for our community. We strive to be unmatched in quality, responsiveness to community needs, and most of all, offering nurturing, impactful, and life-transforming experiences for Weld County youth.

Due to Clubhouse and Programming updates, Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County will be switching to a School Year membership and a separate Summer Only membership. School Year memberships will expire at the end of each school year, and summer memberships will expire at the end of each summer session. To ensure safety during field trips and Club activities, each Clubhouse will allow a limited number of registrations and will be available on a first come, first served basis when registering. Summer Club will be open for registration on the first day of Spring Break and will be available online via our website.
During the school year, both Pawl and Monfort clubhouses provide a full dinner as well as an after school snack at no extra cost. Outside food is not allowed at our Clubhouses unless previously arranged with your Clubhouse Director. All other Clubhouses serve an after school snack at no additional cost. During the summer, all Clubs receive breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack at no additional cost.
