Partner Spotlight: Denver Broncos Foundation

Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County would like to thank and recognize the Denver Broncos Foundation for their incredibly generous grant of $10,000. These funds will be used to enhance the Club Experience, increasing access to youth development programming to more members in Weld County.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County, our youth development work (The Club Experience) includes participation in High-Yield Activities, which are hands-on, interactive, intentionally developed experiences that reinforce core workforce readiness skills. These activities support our three priority outcome areas: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. Integrating these into the Club Experience extends members learning beyond the regular school day and helps them become enthusiastic, self-directed learners who are career-ready. This generous grant funding will offset costs associated with The Club Experience for high-yield activities and targeted programs, in addition to ensuring meaningful staff-to-youth ratios and maintaining the capacity to purchase books, supplies, software, etc. In addition, this grant provides the ability to cover scholarship application fees for members, college and technical school applications, college tours, career exploration events, and any additional associated program costs.

Our partnership with the Denver Broncos and the Denver Broncos Foundation throughout 2024 has been a tremendous advantage to our organization and the members we serve. Earlier this year, we hosted a grand opening celebration for our new Teen Center. The Denver Broncos and our friends at Comcast invited Denver Broncos Cheerleaders and Denver Broncos Alumni to attend this event. They also commissioned Artmando, a renowned local artist, to do a live painting experience. This painting now hangs in the main gathering space of our Teen Center, "the hub", for current and future generations of members to enjoy.

We are so grateful to the Denver Broncos and the Denver Broncos Foundation for their continuous support of our mission.
